Tallyroot

Turn scattered exports into one record and generate each funder's report with every number traced to its source row.

Built for the person who writes the report because nobody else will: executive directors, development leads, part-time grant writers, and the fractional grant consultants who serve many organizations at once.

Open the app

Free while we learn from the first report cycles. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Import your exports

CSV files from QuickBooks, Bloomerang, Little Green Light or a Google Sheet. Columns are matched for you; you can correct any of them.

  2. Approve the matches

The same person or the same expense often arrives twice. Each likely duplicate is shown with its reason. You say yes or no.

  3. Generate the report

Grant summary, people served, spending against the grant, outcomes. Every number opens the rows it came from.

What a report looks like

This is the report for an invented organization, produced by the same code the app uses. Press any number and the source rows open, each with its file name and row number.

Riverbend Tutoring Collective (sample) to Riverbend Community Foundation ยท 2026-01-01 to 2026-06-30
